Method 1: Tab technique

• Step 1: Draw basic shapes of each face

• Step 2: Match and identify the corresponding faces and shapes

• Step 3: Add tabs to the edges of each face

• Step 4: Cut out the faces and tabs

• Step 5: Assemble

Additions to the room:
 - an elevated new room, accessed via stairs
 - an additional tall window at the top of the stairs for natural light
 - additional glass doors for natural light
 - a lowered room accessed via a new staircase in the original room
 - additional glass doors to open the lowered room out to the environment and allow for natural light

+ ground plane to show the levels of the rooms

Further additions:
 - roof with glass panes above the new elevated floor to allow for extra natural light
 - this new room is open with many windows for natural light while the other two rooms are more limited with the amount of natural light they receive
